PROBLEM: |
POWER ON LAMP won't illuminate. |
SOLUTION: |
1. Check E-STOP. |

2. Ensure gates are closed and main power is on. The
touch screen message banner will display the current
status.
|
|
3. Check HMI display and see of Power Off message is
displayed. If not, replace indicator light.
|
|
|
PROBLEM: |
Machine won't go into AUTO or STEP cycles. |
SOLUTION: |
1. Machine is in an error condition; check display
for error, reset
|
|
2. Control power is not on; see above. |
|
|
PROBLEM: |
Grid Apply laser not displaying. |
SOLUTION: |
1. Make sure the laser is turned on. Check the power
toggle switch and the keyswitch on the LP-HFD laser.
|
|
2. Make sure the PC is turned on. It is located
inside the gaurding at the infeed side of the
gasfill press station.
|
|
3. Make sure the Laser Projector Manager (LPM 9.0 or
newer) software on the PC at grid laser station is
running. Switch the smaller monitor to HDMI input 2
to see the PC screen.
|
|
4. Make sure that multiple versions of the LPM
software is not running.
|
|
5. Follow grid calbiration proceedures, Section 5.3
|
|
6. Check ethernet communications from PC to Laser by
with Ping, web browser or other network utilities.
|
|
|
PROBLEM: |
Grid Apply laser displays holding circle, not grid
marks.
|
SOLUTION: |
Check on HMI to make sure that "Grid Description"
field of product data through the Line Status screen
has some value.
|
|
Restart LPM software on PC (see above) |
|
|
PROBLEM: |
Grid apply laser marks are in the wrong place |
SOLUTION: |
1. Make sure the grid locations as displayed on the
tv monitor are correct.
|
|
2. Follow grid calbiration proceedures, Section 5.3
|
|
3. Make sure to look at the laser marks on the
spacer, not on the grid background.
|
|
4. Make sure the clamp brackets holding the laser
projector in place are tight.
|
|
|
PROBLEM: |
Cap tube station will not allow glass to convey from
the SAM.
|
SOLUTION: |
1. Go to the SAM touchscreen parameters grid apply
printer screen. Look for error messages. Try the
Reinitialize Printer, Clear Printer Buffers, and
Load Test Messages buttons. The printer can also be
bypassed on this screen.
